2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use TeeOnTime®, we may collect the following categories of information:

Account Information: name, email address, login/authentication information, account preferences, membership or subscription information, and information needed to manage your account.

Booking and Golf Information: tee-time or booking information, golf course or facility selections, booking dates and times, number of players, membership information, simulator or facility bookings, credits or account balances, and booking history.

Payment Information: payment status, transaction amount and date, payment method type, billing information, and limited payment-related identifiers. We do not intend to store complete credit-card numbers on our own systems when payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor.

Device and Technical Information: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, general device identifiers, network information, access date/time, diagnostics, and information concerning how the Service is accessed and used.

Usage Information: features used, pages or screens viewed, searches, booking activity, general interaction with the Service, and technical events associated with use of the Service.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to provide, operate, and maintain TeeOnTime®; create and manage accounts; process and manage bookings; process payments and transactions; provide customer support; communicate about accounts, bookings, transactions, or the Service; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents; troubleshoot technical problems; maintain and improve the Service; analyze usage and performance; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; and perform other purposes reasonably related to the purposes described when information was collected.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose or make personal information available where reasonably necessary to provide the Service, including to service providers for hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, booking/reservation services, customer support, analytics, communications, and application infrastructure.

Where necessary to fulfill a booking or transaction, relevant information may be provided to the golf course, simulator, facility, or other service provider involved. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale, or other business transaction.

5. Third-Party Services

TeeOnTime® may rely on third-party services and technologies for website hosting, authentication, payment processing, analytics, communications, infrastructure, and other functionality. These third parties may independently process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. We will update this Privacy Policy when material changes to our use of third-party services affect the practices described here.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and online services may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, improve functionality, understand website usage, maintain security, and analyze and improve our services. You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser settings.

7. Location Information

TeeOnTime® does not require precise device location information unless a particular feature expressly requires it and appropriate disclosure is provided. If a future version requests location information, we will disclose the purpose for that access and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

TeeOnTime® is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Where applicable law establishes a different minimum age, that requirement may also apply.

9. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Depending on the nature of the information and circumstances, safeguards may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication mechanisms, restricted access, monitoring and security controls, and appropriate contractual safeguards with service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, provide the Service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or regulatory obligations. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it, subject to applicable legal and business requirements.

11. Account Deletion

If you have a TeeOnTime® account, you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting road@linkuptm.ca. Please include the email address associated with your account so that we can identify and process the request. We will process deletion requests in accordance with applicable law. Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by law, including information necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, accounting, or other legitimate legal purposes.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction, request deletion subject to applicable exceptions, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, ask questions about our privacy practices, and make a privacy complaint. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

13. Canadian Privacy

TeeOnTime® is operated in Canada and is committed to handling personal information in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws. Where applicable, this includes the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation. We seek to follow applicable principles relating to accountability, identifying purposes, consent, limiting collection, limiting use and disclosure, retention, accuracy, safeguards, openness, access, and complaint handling.

14. International Processing

Some service providers used by TeeOnTime® may process or store information outside Canada. Where personal information is transferred to another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party service providers protect personal information appropriately and use it only for authorized purposes.

15. Communications

We may send service-related communications concerning account activity, bookings, transactions, security, important changes to the Service, and other communications necessary to provide the Service. Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional communications. You may unsubscribe from promotional communications using the unsubscribe mechanism included in those communications. Essential service communications may continue.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
